Photo Gallery | Fort Benning Ranger honored at Falcons Panthers game

ATLANTA, GA - One Fort Benning soldier got star treatment at this past weekend's Falcons game against the Carolina Panthers.

Staff Sgt. Ray Santiago of Fort Benning's Ranger Training Brigade was honored on the field of the Georgia Dome.

The Atlanta Falcons and the Home Depot selected Santiago as their Hometown Hero at the game against the Carolina Panthers for his exemplary service.

Santiago works as a Ranger Instructor and won the Maneuver Center of Excellence  Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year in 2011.

Later that year he placed second at the Non-Commissioned Office of the Year competition for the entire U.S. Army
