VA benefits payments no long paper check, goes electronic March 1
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- Starting next Friday, Veterans will receive their benefits electronically. On March 1, the government will stop issuing paper checks.
Veterans who do not sign up for electronic payments before next Friday will receive their funds via a pre-paid debit card.
To change your VA benefits to direct deposit go to www.GoDirect.org or call 1-800-333-1795 and ask about the "Go Direct" program.
